Atlanta police said officers were first dispatched at approximately 1:42 p.m. to a reported shooting at 3230 Cushman Circle SW.

Despite being wounded, the man was able to leave the immediate area and travel to a nearby gas station at 1192 Michael Langford Drive SW.
Police were called to that location shortly before 2 p.m. and found the 25-year-old suffering from an apparent gunshot injury.
Emergency medical personnel attempted to respond, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Link Two Calls to Same Victim

The sequence of events is now being reconstructed by homicide investigators as they review evidence and seek information from anyone who may have witnessed the confrontation.
