Reports concerning the alleged passing of David Reimer of Vancouver, British Columbia, have circulated among people who may have known him, prompting expressions of concern and sympathy.
However, a review of current obituary and funeral-home sources did not identify a reliable 2026 obituary or official family announcement confirming the death of a Vancouver resident named David Reimer.
Several older obituary records for people with the same name appear in Canadian records, making it important not to attribute those deaths to the Vancouver individual described in the supplied report. One David Reimer died in British Columbia in October 2025, while another died in Ontario in July 2024. Neither record establishes the reported death of a current Vancouver resident.
Details About Reported Death Not Available
The supplied report does not establish David’s age, date of death, cause of death, occupation or family circumstances. Those details have therefore not been added or inferred.
There is also no independently verified information confirming funeral arrangements, visitation services or a memorial gathering.

Community Awaits Confirmation
When reports of a death circulate without an identifiable obituary or family announcement, it is important to distinguish condolences and online claims from confirmed information.
If David’s family or a funeral home subsequently publishes an official notice, additional information about his life, death and memorial arrangements could be reported accurately.
For now, the available evidence does not establish that the David Reimer described in the supplied report has died. Existing Canadian obituary records involving people with the same name should not be treated as confirmation.
Accuracy note: No reliable 2026 Vancouver obituary or official death announcement matching the supplied report was located during the current search. The identity, date and circumstances of the reported death remain unconfirmed.
