ALDIE, VIRGINIA — The Northern Virginia community is mourning the death of Lisa Bradford, a 54-year-old real estate professional who was found dead following a reported shooting at an Aldie residence on September 22, 2026.
According to reporting citing the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called shortly after 12:10 p.m. to the 24000 block of Quimby Oaks Place after receiving a report of a shooting. When deputies arrived, they found Bradford dead at the scene.
Investigation Leads to Suspect
Investigators identified Roger Bradford, 60, of Aldie, as the suspect. Authorities said he had left the area before deputies arrived, prompting a search that extended beyond Virginia.
The manhunt moved through Maryland and eventually into Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania State Police located and arrested Roger Bradford in Bedford, Pennsylvania, at approximately 3:15 p.m., roughly three hours after deputies first responded to the Aldie shooting.
Roger Bradford was subsequently charged with first-degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. He was being held in Pennsylvania pending extradition to Virginia, according to the report.
